Difficulty Modes

Pokémon Lazarus features a Difficulty Mode setting, adjustable on the second page of the Options menu alongside other gameplay settings.

Normal Mode: Soft level caps and standard Gym Leader teams. Most Pokémon teams can complete the game, though some battles may require extra strategy.
Hard Mode: Harder level caps and tougher Gym Leaders with enhanced teams. Opponents gain extra levels throughout the game, reaching a +5 level boost by the end. Stronger moves and wider coverage make planning essential for Gym battles.
